Ashtanga Yoga for Life with Kathy Cooper


We are thrilled to welcome Kathy Cooper back to Prana! She will be guiding us through a weekend of All-Level Ashtanga practice and workshops to enhance the experience:

Saturday, August 2, 10 am-12 pm: Led Primary Series for All Levels - connect to the flow; Kathy supports students’ well-being giving hands-on adjustments.

Saturday, August 2, 2-4 pm: Breath and Bandhas - vinyasa and core - deeper self; We will explore breath/bandhas with breathing exercises and how the complexities of breath/bandhas & movement bring us into the present moment, the eternal now. Being present in the body through the connections to the breath and bandhas is the key which unlocks the blockages and opens the door to our deeper self. Vinyasa alignment including core alignment supporting the spine.

Sunday, August 3, 10 am-12 pm: Led Class Combination of Primary and Second Series; Kathy combines the Primary Series with some selected asanas of the Second Series in a wonderful and accessible way. She will support your inner journey giving adjustments for your personal assistance.

Sunday, August 3, 2-4 pm: Embodied Awareness and Primary Series - being fully present and alive; Kathy offers a basic overview of the Primary Series with embodied movement awareness. Recognizing skillful means to access poses safely, achieve benefits for your body /mind and allow opening and deepening in practice.

Cost entire weekend: $225
